After a long wait, a big ICC tournament is about to come as the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is back after 8 long years. This year’s ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be host by Pakistan but also will take place in the United Arab Emirates (As a Neutral Venue), as India is not treveling to Pakistan due to security reasons. It will be interesting to see how the tournament will go as Pakistan is hosting The first match will take place on 19 February between host Pakistan and New Zealand in National Stadium Karachi.
Last time defending champions Pakistan, who had retained the title in 2017, were held by India. They are willing to retain the title this year too, but it will not be easy as all teams are geared up to win the title.
As Pakistan is hosting the Champions Trophy 2025, the ICC has divided all teams in two groups, in Group A: India, Pakistan, New Zealand, and Bangladesh, while in Group B: Australia, England, South Africa, and Afghanistan.
Venues For Champions Trophy 2025
Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, National Stadium Karachi, and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, including the United Arab Emirates as a (Neutral Venue) are shortlisted for the Champions Trophy 2025. Where the final will take place in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore including Dubai International Stadium as (Neutral Venue) if India reaches in final.
